
After 20 years on Bay Street, Pier purchased and renovated the old Queen’s Hotel in 2002. He’s been the qwner/operator of The Queen’s Bar along with his daughters Adele and Isabel.
Pier is a serial volunteer and is Past President, Port Elgin Rotary, Past Board Member, Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce, Past Adjustment Committee Member, Town of Saugeen Shores and is currently on the Pumpkinfest Board.
Pier is an ardent believer that things can always be better!

Steve is the owner/operator of Ristorante Rosina and along with his wife Barb and children, has been in Port Elgin full time since 2011. In addition, he operates as principal and CEO of Harris Management Group, managing properties locally and in the Waterloo/Guelph region.
Steve is Past President, Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce and held executive board roles with the Waterloo and Guelph Home Builders Association and has also been involved in the industry at provincial and national levels.

Born and raised in Saugeen Shores, Melissa is a proud mom/entrepreneur carryon on her family’s retail legacy that includes Casual Corners and Mensch in Port Elgin, and The Garage Clothing Company in Sauble Beach.
Melissa is a proud member of the BIA and is dedicated to supporting the creation of a great downtown both with beautification and events and promotions to “drive feet to the street”!

Melissa and her family moved to Port Elgin full time in 2009. After working for over a decade in the developmental services field, Melissa turned her sights to satisfying her puzzling passion and bought Turtle Crossings Toy Store.
With a background in education and support work, Melissa is passionate about bringing in toys and games that are not only fun, but inclusive and educational, as well.

Jenn brings over two decades of sales and entrepreneurial experience to the BIA. Principal at The Lamont Group Real Estate, her passion is to create meaningful connections and deliver exceptional results both with her real estate clients and now, with her fellow BIA Members.
A devoted wife and mom, she values the importance of family and community and knows that this makes Saugeen Shores a very special place to live and Jenn welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the vibrancy of the area she calls home.

Deputy Mayor Huber is appointed as the Saugeen Shores Council representative to the Board of Management. Following a twenty plus year career in university student recruitment, marketing and admissions, Diane returned to her hometown, Southampton, in 2003. She is currently serving her fourth term as a member of the Saugeen Shores Council and brings her enthusiasm to the Board for enhancing the downtown experience for residents and visitors of all ages.
